Anatomical Location: Located on the anterior forearm, just above the wrist.

How to Locate:

  1. Turn your hand palm up
  2. Find the crease where your wrist bends
  3. Measure 2 finger-widths up from this crease
  4. The point is between the two main tendons you can feel

PC-6 Protocols

Nausea & Emotional Calm (4 minutes)

  1. Sit with forearm resting palm-up
  2. Locate PC-6 (2 cun above the wrist crease, between tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis)
  3. Apply firm pressure with thumb for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to relieve nausea and calm anxiety
  5. Repeat pressure while breathing slowly and softening the abdomen
