Understanding Panic Attack
Sudden episode of intense fear or discomfort with physical symptoms mimicking a medical emergency.
Panic attacks strike suddenly, causing overwhelming fear, chest tightness, dizziness, and a racing heart. They often feel life-threatening even though they are not. Managing triggers, practicing relaxation, and using acupressure points can help ground the body, calm the nervous system, and reduce the intensity of symptoms during an episode.
