Anatomical Location: On the anterior aspect of the leg, midway between the knee and ankle, one finger-breadth lateral to the tibia's anterior crest.

How to Locate:

  1. Find the midpoint between your kneecap and ankle bone
  2. Move 1 finger-width toward the outside from your shin bone
  3. This is usually the most prominent part of your shin muscle
  4. The point is in this muscular bulge
