Anatomical Location: Located on the radial aspect of the forearm, just above the wrist.

How to Locate:

  1. Turn your arm thumb side up
  2. Find where your wrist bends
  3. Measure 1.5 finger-widths up from the wrist crease
  4. The point is on the thumb side in a small depression

LU-7 Protocols

Breathing Support & Emotional Release (4 minutes)

  1. Sit with wrist relaxed and palm facing down
  2. Locate LU-7 (proximal to the styloid process of the radius, about 1.5 cun above the wrist crease)
  3. Apply firm pressure with thumb for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to open the lungs and release grief
  5. Repeat pressure while breathing deeply and relaxing the shoulders
