Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T2 (second thoracic vertebra).

How to Locate:

  1. Count down one vertebra from the base of your neck
  2. Place your finger about one and a half finger-widths to the side of your spine at this level
  3. Press into the back muscle to find a tender spot - this is BL-12
