GB-34 - Yang Mound Spring
阳陵泉 - Yáng líng quán
Point Region: Leg
GB-34, or 'Yanglingquan' (meaning 'Yang Mound Spring'), is a key point in the entire acupressure system. Located on the side of the knee, its name refers to its ability to address issues related to the 'mound' or 'hill' of the knee and the 'spring' of the body's energy.
As a local point, Yanglingquan is primarily used for issues related to the knee and leg, such as a stiff knee, a sore knee, and a sense of 'weakness' in the lower body. It is a go-to point for 'tonifying' the Kidney and 'strengthening' the body as a whole. By stimulating this point, you can help to restore a sense of balance and harmony to the entire body.
Yanglingquan acts as a vital access point to the core of the body, providing a direct and effective way to address blockages and restore a sense of comfort and vitality to the lower body. It's a reminder of the power of local points to provide targeted relief and restore a sense of comfort and vitality to the entire body.
