Treatment Protocol

  1. NOTE: Persistent numbness/tingling requires medical evaluation - use this as supportive care
  2. Sit comfortably with affected limb supported and relaxed
  3. Start with gentle movement of the affected area to assess current sensation level
  4. Press LI-4 (thumb-index web) on unaffected hand first, then gently on affected hand for 1 minute each
  5. Apply careful pressure to GB-34 (outer leg, below kneecap) for 1 minute each leg to support nerve pathways
  6. Massage BL-60 (outer ankle, behind ankle bone) gently for lower limb tingling relief
  7. For circulation support: add ST-36 (below knee) and SP-6 (inner ankle) with light pressure
  8. For constitutional support: include KI-3 (inner ankle) for yin nourishment
  9. Use gradual pressure increases - sensation may be altered, so monitor carefully
  10. Seek immediate medical attention if numbness spreads or worsens rapidly
