BL-60 - Kunlun Mountains
昆仑 - Kūn lún
Point Region: Foot
BL-60 Kunlun, meaning 'Kunlun Mountains,' is one of the most vital points on the Bladder meridian, commanding the spine and descending excess. Named after the mythical Kunlun Mountains—the axis of the world in Chinese cosmology—this point serves as a powerful command point for the entire back, from the lower back to the neck, as well as a master at releasing pain and tension.
Think of Kunlun as a point that helps you to feel as solid and grounded as a mountain. It's invaluable for addressing issues like stiff necks, back pain, and headaches. By descending excess energy, it helps to calm a restless mind and promote a sense of inner peace.
By commanding the spine and descending excess, BL-60 helps to restore a sense of balance and inner peace. It's a point that reminds us that our true power comes from a strong and unburdened back.
