Anatomical Location: On the posterior midline of the leg, between BL-56 and BL-58, in the depression formed below the gastrocnemius muscle belly when the leg is flexed.

How to Locate:

  1. Point your toes upward to make your calf muscle bulge
  2. Find the depression just below the calf muscle bulge
  3. Press into this hollow area - this is BL-57
