Anatomical Location: 5 cun below BL-40, on the line connecting BL-40 and BL-57, in the center of the belly of the gastrocnemius muscle.
How to Locate:
- Locate the center of your calf muscle, about halfway down your lower leg
- Find the thickest part of your calf muscle belly
- Press into the muscle to find a tender spot - this is BL-56
