GV-2 - Lumbar Transporter
腰俞 - Yāo shū
Point Region: Lower back
GV-2, or 'Yaoshu' (meaning 'Lumber Shu'), is a local point located on the sacral hiatus, a key area for the lower back and pelvic region. Its name refers to its ability to address issues in the 'lumber' or lower back area.
As a local point, Yaoshu is primarily used for issues related to the lower back and legs, such as lower back pain, sciatica, and leg numbness. It is a go-to point for 'tonifying' the Kidney and 'strengthening' the lower body, helping to restore vitality and strength to the entire body. By stimulating this point, you can help to restore a sense of balance and harmony to the lower body.
Yaoshu acts as a vital access point to the core of the body, providing a direct and effective way to address blockages and restore a sense of comfort and vitality to the lower body.
