BL-20 - Spleen Shu
脾俞 - Pí shū
Point Region: Back
BL-20 Pishu, the Back-Shu point of the Spleen, is the great anchor of the Earth Element. The Spleen governs our ability to transform food into energy and to process thoughts and emotions. This point strengthens the Spleen's function, helping to improve digestion and ground us in our bodies.
Think of Pishu as the foundation of your inner world. It's a crucial point for anyone who struggles with digestive issues, fatigue, or a sense of being ungrounded. By strengthening the Spleen, this point helps to clear dampness from the body, which can manifest as bloating, sluggishness, and mental fogginess.
By nourishing the Spleen, BL-20 helps to restore a sense of stability and vitality. It's a point that reminds us that true nourishment comes not just from the food we eat, but from our ability to absorb and transform our life experiences into strength and wisdom.
