Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T4 (fourth thoracic vertebra).

How to Locate:

  1. Locate the level about three vertebrae down from the base of your neck
  2. Place your finger about one and a half finger-widths to the side of your spine
  3. Press into the muscle to find a tender spot - this is BL-14
