BL-13 - Lung Shu
肺俞 - Fèi shū
Point Region: Back
BL-13 Feishu, meaning 'Lung Shu,' is the Back-Shu point of the Lung, a sacred location on the body's map that directly influences the health of the lungs. The Lungs, in Chinese medicine, govern not only our breath but also our immune system and ability to process grief. This point serves as a powerful entry point to nourish and strengthen these vital functions.
As the home of the Lungs, Feishu is the go-to point for all things related to breath. It's invaluable for clearing chest congestion, easing a cough, and alleviating shortness of breath. It's also a point of deep emotional release, helping to process and disperse sadness, melancholy, and grief that are often held in the chest.
By supporting the Lungs, BL-13 fortifies our protective 'wei qi' or defensive energy, making us more resilient to both physical and emotional attacks. It's a point of profound healing, inviting a sense of spaciousness and ease back into our breath and our hearts.
