Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: On the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, midway between ST-9 (Renying) and ST-11 (Qishe), level with the laryngeal prominence.

How to Locate:

  1. Find your Adam's apple in the center of your throat
  2. Find your collar bone below your throat
  3. Locate the midpoint between your Adam's apple and collar bone
  4. Move to the side and find the point on the front edge of your neck muscle
