Location & How to Find
Anatomical Location: Level with the tip of the Adam's apple, on the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, where the carotid artery pulsates.
How to Locate:
- Find your Adam's apple in the center of your throat
- Move your finger to the side of your Adam's apple
- Feel for your pulse in the neck muscle
- The point is where you feel the strongest pulse
