Anatomical Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, posterior to the medial border of the tibia.

How to Locate:

  1. Find the highest point of your inner ankle bone
  2. Measure 6 finger-widths straight up from this point
  3. Move slightly toward the back of your leg from the shin bone
  4. The point is in the muscle behind your shin bone
