Location & How to Find
Anatomical Location: 3 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T12 (twelfth thoracic vertebra), level with BL-21.
How to Locate:
- Locate the level of your lowest rib (this is the twelfth chest vertebra)
- Place your finger about three finger-widths to the side of your spine
- Press to find a tender spot in the back muscle - this is BL-50
