Location & How to Find
Anatomical Location: 3 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T5 (fifth thoracic vertebra), level with BL-15.
How to Locate:
- Find the level about four vertebrae down from the base of your neck
- Place your finger about three finger-widths to the side of your spine
- Press to find a tender spot in the back muscle - this is BL-44
