Anatomical Location: 3 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T4 (fourth thoracic vertebra), level with BL-14.
How to Locate:
- Locate the level about three vertebrae down from the base of your neck
- Place your finger about three finger-widths to the side of your spine
- Press into the muscle to find a tender spot - this is BL-43
