Anatomical Location: On the lateral thorax, level with the 6th intercostal space.

How to Locate:

  1. Raise your arm to the side
  2. Find the 6th space between ribs on your side
  3. This is usually at the level of your lower chest
  4. The point is on your side at this rib level
