- Feel behind your ear for the bony prominence (mastoid process)
- Move toward the base of your skull
- Find the depression between the ear and neck
- Apply gentle pulsing pressure to this area

Insomnia & Emotional Calm (4 minutes)
- Lie down or sit with head supported
- Locate 安眠 (EXT-51) — behind the ear, midway between GB-20 and TW-17
- Apply gentle pressure for 30 seconds on each side
- Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to promote sleep and calm the Shen
- Repeat pressure while breathing deeply and relaxing the neck
