Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: On the anterior midline of the thorax, at the level of the fifth intercostal space, directly above CV-15.

How to Locate:

  1. Locate your breastbone in the center of your chest
  2. Find the area just above the bottom tip of your breastbone
  3. This is on your breastbone, about level with your nipples
  4. Stay exactly on the centerline of your chest
