Anatomical Location: 3 cun lateral to the sacral hiatus, level with the fourth posterior sacral foramen (S4).

How to Locate:

  1. Locate the fourth and lowest small depression in your tailbone area
  2. Move about three finger-widths to the side from the center line
  3. Press to find a tender spot in the muscle beside your tailbone - this is BL-54
