How to Locate:

  1. Lie face down or stand
  2. Locate the center of your buttock
  3. Feel for the depression in the buttock muscle
  4. This is often a tender spot
  5. This is GB-30, the major hip and sciatica point

GB-30 Protocols

Hip Pain & Sciatic Relief (5 minutes)

  1. Lie on your side or sit with hip accessible
  2. Locate GB-30 (at the junction of lateral 1/3 and medial 2/3 between greater trochanter and sacral hiatus)
  3. Apply firm pressure with knuckles or elbow for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to release deep hip tension
  5. Repeat pressure while slowly rotating the hip
