GB-29 - Stationary Crevice
居髎 - Jū liáo
Point Region: Lower abdomen
GB-29, or 'Juliao' (meaning 'Stationary Crevice'), is a local point located on the side of the hip. Its name refers to its position in a 'crevice' or 'hollow' of the hip, where it can address issues related to the hip and leg.
As a local point, Juliao is primarily used for issues related to the hip and leg, such as a stiff hip, a sore knee, and a sense of 'weakness' in the lower body. It is a go-to point for 'tonifying' the Kidney and 'strengthening' the body as a whole. By stimulating this point, you can help to restore a sense of balance and harmony to the entire body.
Juliao acts as a vital access point to the core of the body, providing a direct and effective way to address blockages and restore a sense of comfort and vitality to the lower body.
