BL-38 - Floating Cleft
浮郄 - Fú xì
Point Region: Knee
BL-38 Fuxi, meaning 'Floating Cleft,' is a point that helps to relax the hamstrings and clear heat from the lower body. Located at the lateral end of the popliteal crease, it is a key point for releasing tension and promoting a sense of lightness in the leg. This point helps to 'float' away the heaviness and heat that can accumulate in the lower body.
Think of Fuxi as a point that brings a sense of buoyancy to the legs. It's especially useful for addressing issues like hamstring tightness, knee pain, and a feeling of heaviness or heat in the legs. By clearing heat, it helps to alleviate inflammation and promote a smooth flow of energy.
By relaxing the hamstrings and clearing heat, BL-38 helps to restore a sense of ease and freedom in our movement. It's a point that reminds us that a healthy life is rooted in a light and unburdened body.
