BL-26 - Gate of Origin Shu
关元俞 - Guān yuán shū
Point Region: Lower back
BL-26 Guanyuanshu, meaning 'Gate of Origin Shu,' is a powerful point for strengthening the lower burner and supporting reproductive essence. It's a direct gateway to the 'Gate of Origin' or 'Dan Tian' in the lower abdomen, which is a central hub for our core energy, vitality, and reproductive health.
Think of Guanyuanshu as a key that unlocks your deepest reserves of power and vitality. It's a go-to point for a wide range of conditions related to the reproductive and urinary systems, including menstrual irregularities, infertility, and low libido. It also helps to address a cold or weak lower back, which is often a sign of depleted energy.
By strengthening the lower burner and supporting our 'jing' or essence, BL-26 helps to restore a deep sense of strength and resilience. It's a point that reminds us that our true power is rooted in our core, and that by nurturing this center, we can unlock our full potential.
