BL-25 - Large Intestine Shu
大肠俞 - Dà cháng shū
Point Region: Lower back
BL-25 Dachangshu, the Back-Shu point of the Large Intestine, is a master point for regulating the bowels and releasing what no longer serves us. In Chinese medicine, the Large Intestine is responsible for the final stage of elimination, both physically and emotionally. This point helps to clear stagnation and restore the natural rhythm of elimination.
Think of Dachangshu as a point of cleansing and release. It's invaluable for a wide range of bowel issues, from constipation and diarrhea to abdominal pain and gas. On an emotional level, it helps us to let go of old patterns, thoughts, and emotions that we have held onto for too long.
By supporting the Large Intestine's function, BL-25 promotes a sense of lightness and ease, both in our bodies and in our minds. It's a point that reminds us that true health comes from the ability to let go and create space for the new.
