How to Locate:

  1. Turn your hand palm up
  2. Find the thick muscle at the base of your thumb
  3. Locate the edge of this muscle toward your wrist
  4. The point is on the outer edge of this thumb muscle

LU-10 Protocols

Sore Throat & Heat Clearing (3 minutes)

  1. Sit with palm facing up
  2. Locate LU-10 (on the thenar eminence, between the midpoint of the first metacarpal and the thenar muscles)
  3. Apply firm pressure with thumb for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to relieve throat pain and clear heat
  5. Repeat pressure while breathing deeply and relaxing the jaw
