BL-9 - Jade Pillow
玉枕 - Yù zhěn
Point Region: Head
BL-9 Yuzhen, or 'Jade Pillow,' is a sacred point located at the base of the skull, where the head rests like a precious jewel on the body. This point is a sanctuary for the mind and spirit, easing neck tension and inviting a state of deep relaxation. It’s known for its ability to clear the mind and promote restful sleep and lucid dreams.
As the 'Jade Pillow,' Yuzhen offers a sense of support and rest for a tired mind. It's particularly effective for headaches at the back of the head, stiff necks, and general mental fatigue. By relaxing this point, you can release the grip of daily stress and allow the head and neck to find a state of ease.
This point serves as a powerful bridge between the brain and the rest of the body. By easing tension at the head's foundation, BL-9 can alleviate a wide range of symptoms, from vision problems and nasal congestion to a restless mind that struggles to find peace.
