GV-8 - Sinew Contraction
筋缩 - Jīn suō
Point Region: Back
GV-8, or 'Jinsuo' (meaning 'Sinew Contraction'), is a local point located on the spine. Its name refers to its ability to address 'contraction' and 'spasms' in the 'sinews' or tendons of the body.
As a local point, Jinsuo is primarily used for issues related to muscle spasms, cramps, and stiffness. It is a go-to point for 'relaxing' the muscles and 'clearing' heat from the spine. By stimulating this point, you can help to restore a sense of balance and harmony to the entire body.
Jinsuo acts as a vital access point to the core of the body, providing a direct and effective way to address blockages and restore a sense of comfort and vitality to the lower body.
