Anatomical Location: On the posterior midline, in the depression below L1.
How to Locate:
- Stand or lie face down
- Locate the bottom of your ribcage
- Feel for the spine at the level of the lowest ribs
- Count down 1-2 vertebrae from this point
- The point is in the depression between vertebrae slightly above waist level
