Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: On the shoulder, directly above the apex of the trapezius muscle.

How to Locate:

  1. Place your hand on your opposite shoulder
  2. Feel for the highest point of your shoulder muscle (trapezius)
  3. Find the peak of this muscle mass
  4. The point is at the peak of this muscle mass on top of your shoulder

GB-21 Protocols

Shoulder Tension & Upper Back Relief (4 minutes)

  1. Sit or stand with shoulders relaxed
  2. Locate GB-21 (highest point of the shoulder, midway between spine and acromion)
  3. Use fingertips or knuckles to press firmly for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to release shoulder tightness
  5. Repeat pressure while gently rolling shoulders
