BL-30 - White Ring Shu
白环俞 - Bái huán shū
Point Region: Lower back
BL-30 Baihuanshu, meaning 'White Ring Shu,' is a point that acts as a powerful support for the sacrum and the lower limbs. Its name alludes to the 'white ring' of the anal sphincter, a key point in regulating the pelvic floor and the body's core. This point helps to invigorate the lower body, promoting a sense of stability and strength.
Think of Baihuanshu as a foundation point for the entire lower body. It's invaluable for a wide range of conditions, from lower back pain and sciatica to issues with the legs and feet. By strengthening the sacrum and pelvic region, it helps to restore a sense of groundedness and stability.
By supporting the sacrum and invigorating the lower limbs, BL-30 helps to alleviate pain and promote a smooth flow of energy throughout the legs. It's a point that reminds us that our ability to move forward in life is rooted in a strong and stable foundation.
