BL-2 - Gathered Bamboo
攒竹 - Zǎn zhú
Point Region: Head
BL-2 Zanzhu, translating to 'Gathered Bamboo,' embodies the elegant wisdom of bamboo forests where individual stalks grow together in harmonious clusters. Located at the medial end of the eyebrow, this point represents the gathering of scattered thoughts and energies into coherent, flexible strength—teaching us that true resilience comes not from rigidity but from the ability to bend without breaking.
Like bamboo that can withstand the fiercest storms by yielding rather than resisting, BL-2 excels at helping us navigate life's pressures with grace and adaptability. This point is particularly valuable for releasing the kind of tension that accumulates around the eyes and forehead from concentrating too hard or worrying too much about things beyond our control.
In the ecosystem of facial acupoints, Zanzhu serves as a master harmonizer, coordinating the delicate interplay between mental focus and emotional ease. It teaches us that clarity doesn't require strain, and that the most profound insights often come when we relax our grip on trying to figure everything out.
