Anatomical Location: Located on the anterior wrist, in the central depression of the wrist crease.

How to Locate:

  1. Turn your hand palm up
  2. Find the crease where your wrist bends
  3. Locate the center of this crease
  4. The point is in the central depression between tendons

PC-7 Protocols

Anxiety & Palpitation Relief (4 minutes)

  1. Sit with wrist relaxed and palm facing up
  2. Locate PC-7 (at the wrist crease, between the tendons of palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis)
  3. Apply firm pressure with thumb for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to soothe the heart and reduce anxiety
  5. Repeat pressure while exhaling slowly and relaxing the chest
