GB-36 - Outer Mound
外丘 - Wài qiū
Point Region: Leg
GB-36, or 'Waiqiu' (meaning 'Outer Hill'), is a local point located on the side of the lower leg. Its name refers to its position as an 'outer hill' or 'mound' that can be used to address issues related to the leg and ankle.
As a local point, Waiqiu is primarily used for issues related to the leg and ankle, such as a stiff leg, a sore ankle, and a sense of 'weakness' in the lower body. It is a go-to point for 'tonifying' the Kidney and 'strengthening' the body as a whole. By stimulating this point, you can help to restore a sense of balance and harmony to the entire body.
