Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: On the upper back, adjacent to T2, in the paraspinal region.

How to Locate:

  1. From the prominent bone at the base of your neck (C7)
  2. Count down two vertebrae to the second thoracic vertebra (T2)
  3. Move half a finger-width to either side of this vertebra
  4. Apply firm pressure to the paraspinal muscle
