Anatomical Location: 3 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T2 (second thoracic vertebra), level with BL-12.
How to Locate:
- Find the level one vertebra down from the base of your neck
- Place your finger about three finger-widths to the side of your spine
- Press into the upper back muscle to find a tender spot - this is BL-41
