BL-35 - Meeting of Yang
会阳 - Huì yáng
Point Region: Lower back
BL-35 Huiyang, meaning 'Meeting of Yang,' is a pivotal point that clears damp heat and supports the perineum. Located in the gluteal fold, it serves as a central point where the body's yang energy can gather and flow. This point is a master cleanser, helping to clear toxins and stagnation from the lower body.
Think of Huiyang as a point of purification and release. It's particularly effective for addressing issues like hemorrhoids, constipation, and pelvic pain that are caused by damp heat. It also helps to alleviate pain in the buttocks and legs, promoting a sense of lightness and ease.
By clearing damp heat and supporting the perineum, BL-35 helps to restore a sense of balance and purity to the lower body. It's a point that reminds us of the importance of letting go and clearing what no longer serves us, both physically and emotionally.
