Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: Located with the palm placed on the chest, in a depression on the dorsal forearm.

How to Locate:

  1. Turn your arm palm down and bend your wrist back slightly
  2. Find the outer edge of your forearm bone near your wrist
  3. Feel for the depression on the back of your forearm
  4. The point is in this hollow about 1 finger-width up from your wrist

SI-6 Protocols

Eye Fatigue & Wrist Relief (3 minutes)

  1. Sit with forearm relaxed and palm facing down
  2. Locate SI-6 (on the dorsal aspect of the forearm, in the depression radial to the styloid process of the ulna)
  3. Apply gentle pressure for 30 seconds
  4. Massage in circular motions for 1 minute to ease eye strain and wrist tension
  5. Repeat pressure while blinking slowly and relaxing the shoulders
