Location & How to Find

Anatomical Location: Upper-mid thoracic region, paraspinal area adjacent to T5.

How to Locate:

  1. From the prominent bone at the base of your neck (C7)
  2. Count down five vertebrae to the fifth thoracic vertebra (T5)
  3. Move half a finger-width to either side of this vertebra
  4. Apply firm pressure to the paraspinal muscle
